Support Great Basin Institute in Serving Public Lands in the West
The Great Basin Institute supports Great Basin Institute at Galena Creek, Taylor Creek Visitor Center, and the Tallac Historic Site, which all help promote natural and cultural resources in the community.
Galena Creek Visitor Center encourages the understanding, appreciation and appropriate use of the natural and cultural resources of the Galena Canyon area and the Mount Rose-Lake Tahoe Scenic Byway.
The Taylor Creek Visitor Center, operated in partnership with the Great Basin Institute, is located on the south shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe approximately three miles north of the City of South Lake Tahoe. The visitor center serves as a hub where four fascinating self-guided trails begin.
