The Caldor Fire Noxious Weeds Control Project is located on the Eldorado National Forest (ENF). The purpose of the Project is to treat nineteen priority invasive plant infestations totaling 46.1 acres across the Eldorado National Forest. The project would also survey and treat targeted invasive plants along 22.9 miles of roads at six location where invasive plants have been recently observed and have likely spread. The specific treatments will consist of foliar herbicide application utilizing a backpack sprayer.
WNF – Integrated Weed Management Project – NEPA Services
The Great Basin Institute (GBI) has an agreement with the Willamette National Forest (WNF) to produce the necessary National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Integrated Weed Management Project. The GBI seeks proposals from qualified entities to support this NEPA document.
