This project lies entirely within Eldorado National Forest Lands on the Georgetown Ranger District. This project consists of 815 acres of treatments that include sale and removal of fire killed or dying trees (salvage) >10 (dbh) in specific burned timber stands, mechanical thinning of specific unburned and partially burned timber stands, cutting and removal of biomass to landings in specific units, hauling 1,000 tons of biomass or substandard timber to a biomass facility and road reconstruction and construction of specific roads.
