About the Artist
Julia Schwadron Marianelli

Residency from May 20 – July 8

Julia Schwadron Marianelli is an artist who has shown her work across the country as well as internationally. Schwadron Marianelli served as founder of the MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Sierra Nevada University. She currently serves as an artist mentor, workshop facilitator, and is on the art faculty at Lake Tahoe Community College. Schwadron Marianelli received her BA in Studio art from UC San Diego and her MFA in Painting from the Tyler School of Art. She lives and works in South Lake Tahoe, CA with her husband and two kids.

Drawing in the Landscape

Saturday, June 11 and Saturday, July 1 • 10am–11:30am

Join artist-in-residence Julia Schwadron for a landscape drawing class at the Pope Estate. This program will take place outdoors within the environment and is best suited for teens and adults. Learn how to transform the beautiful scenery into a beautiful drawing!

Location & Parking

This class will meet at the Tallac Museum, 1 Heritage Way, South Lake Tahoe, CA 95401. Parking is free at the historic site. It is best to arrive early on weekends as parking cannot be reserved in advance and is competitve.
