Good morning, Team GBI,
Linked here is a succinct summation by the NY Times re. the Covid 19 crisis and trend. As we deploy our seasonal workforce, please remain vigilant with mitigation measures. While there is most encouraging data regarding vaccine efficacy, the variant strains pose serious challenges to the health of our workforce and the communities we serve. Stay the course with policies—wear masks, clean surfaces, avoid gatherings, air travel, refrain from crowded indoor businesses. Please continue to communicate any concerns with safety and let us know what we can do better to support you.
I, and the GBI Board of Directors, are very grateful for your tremendous efforts at moving forward with our important conservation work while contending with the pandemic. It is truly remarkable how far we’ve come! Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do on behalf of the Institute!
