Great Basin Institute Equity Statement

Great Basin Institute Equity Statement

As part of the Institute’s mission, our organization has sought positive environmental change through community engagement.  We understand the sustainability of the natural world is dependent upon those who rely upon its resources, and that our work is inextricably connected to racial equity and social justice.  We will realize a better tomorrow through our steadfast commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in our management, conservation and business practices.  This will require us to listen with humility and understand the perspectives of those whose voices too often go unheard.  This is the right thing for people and for the environment.  We can and must do better.
